From an unlabelled private collection — this substantial egg in Ruby in Serpentine carries the quiet, grounding energy of the forest floor.

The base is a cool sage and grey-green serpentine, heavily mottled with a fine granular texture that catches light across its polished surface. Deeper olive and charcoal patches move through the stone in soft, irregular clouds, with flashes of brighter apple-green where the serpentine is purest. Ruby inclusions appear as warm reddish-brown and burgundy concentrations distributed throughout — not gem-quality ruby, but the same corundum mineral in its raw, matrix form, adding depth and contrast to the overall composition.

Ruby in Serpentine combines the grounding, protective qualities of serpentine with the vitality and passion of ruby. It works with the Root and Heart Chakras to encourage courage, life force, and a sense of being deeply rooted. Serpentine is a group of magnesium silicate minerals formed through the metamorphism of olivine-rich rocks. Its characteristic mottled green colouring comes from varying iron content. The ruby inclusions are corundum (Al₂O₃) — the same mineral as gem ruby, coloured by chromium — occurring here in its natural matrix form rather than as facetable gemstone quality.

Ruby in Serpentine bridges the grounding energy of serpentine with the fire and vitality of ruby. Serpentine clears and stimulates the chakras, opening psychic abilities and helping to find inner peace. Ruby brings passion, courage, and life force. from Monday to Friday. Domestic UK delivery times are approximately 2-5 business days depending on your preferred shipping method. International
shipping times are highly country depending, but currently we experience a 5-20 days delivery time.

Import Duties & Taxes (outside the UK)

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and Tali and Loz encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tali and Loz at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
