The name is derived from the Greek word ‘chloros’ meaning ‘green’ and since ancient times this crystal has been used for carvings globally although there is no information of metaphysical use in the old days of Chlorite Quartz. The Chlorite can appear in or on the Quartz itself and the look varies from small dots to mists or even thick coatings.
