Petroleum Quartz
Petroleum Quartz is a Quartz variety containing natural inclusions of petroleum trapped during crystal growth in hydrocarbon rich environments. Formed in sedimentary basins where silica rich fluids crystallised alongside organic material, these crystals often display internal liquid inclusions visible under light. Traditionally associated with grounding and deep transformation, this collection features carefully selected Petroleum Quartz specimens valued for their rare inclusions and geological uniqueness.

Colourless quartz points from Madagascar reveal a vivid surprise under UV light.
Each tiny point has glassy faces and natural variation; most have visible black inclusions. In ordinary light the quartz is colourless, while under UV light the inclusions show blue-to-violet fluorescence.
Petroleum quartz is often associated with clarity and grounding, with clear quartz linked to the Crown Chakra. Quartz is commonly considered a companion for every zodiac sign, rather than one sign alone; these little points suit quiet reflection.
Size: Approximately 0.5–1 cm per point
Weight: 0.04–0.46 g per point
Origin: Madagascar
One point supplied, sold individually for £7. The point you receive will vary from those photographed; display props are not included.
