Scattered throughout are distinct clusters of larger, rounded crystal formations sitting proud of the main druzy field — darker and more opaque, in deep plum tones, they add considerable textural depth and visual interest to the piece. A wide band of polished agate surrounds the crystal face — cream, grey, and teal-green in concentric layers — giving the piece a natural, oval frame.
