This unique fossilised opal contains natural sand inclusions, captured and preserved within the stone over millions of years. A substantial and beautifully polished Serpentine freeform from Madagascar — sold locally under the trade name Green Opal — with a colour that is immediately arresting: a vivid, almost luminous lime-green with a fine granular texture that gives the surface a soft, organic quality.

The dominant face is a clean, bright yellow-green, while the reverse reveals a large warm amber-orange inclusion — a natural iron oxide staining within the serpentine matrix — that contrasts beautifully against the green. Broad and rounded, self-standing on a flat base, with a high mirror polish across all faces. At 3.72kg it has real weight and presence.

Serpentine is not a single mineral but a group of magnesium silicate minerals — most commonly antigorite, lizardite, and chrysotile — formed through the metamorphic alteration of olivine and pyroxene in ultramafic rocks. The vivid lime-green is characteristic of high-magnesium serpentine, while the amber-orange patches are caused by iron oxide inclusions. Note: ‘Green Opal’ is a trade name used in Madagascar; this piece is mineralogically serpentine, not true opal.

A petite but vivid Ethiopian opal cabochon cut in a classic teardrop form — warm honey-yellow body colour with an exceptional play of colour that belies its tiny scale.

The body tone is a rich amber-gold, semi-transparent and glowing with internal warmth. Across the domed surface, broad flashes of green, teal, and orange roll and shift with every movement — the orange concentrated in a swirling pool at the base, the greens spreading across the upper face in overlapping bands. The profile reveals a well-proportioned cabochon dome with a flat base, polished to a high lustre throughout. Presented in a black gem box.

Sourced from the volcanic highlands of Mexico, where opal forms in ancient rhyolite — this egg carries the warm, earthy palette of its origins.

The base tone is a muted olive-khaki, shifting to warm caramel and rich chestnut across the surface. Scattered throughout are irregular patches of dusty slate-blue — the telltale hallmark of Mexican matrix opal — sitting within a mosaic of cream and buff veining. The polish is high and glassy, catching light across the contoured surface and revealing depth in the layered patterning. Australian Pink Opal is an opalised radiolarite found near the Kennedy Ranges of Western Australia. It forms through sedimentary deposition and derives its enchanting pink colour from trace amounts of manganese. Unlike crystalline minerals, it has a smooth, non-faceted appearance with a gentle waxy to pearly finish.

For example; their date of birth, their character and what they might need. We can use this intel for a personalised mystery mix! Apricot Agate Flame | 12.3cm | Madagascar

A gorgeous one-of-a-kind Apricot Agate flame from Madagascar, and one of the most characterful pieces we have had in. The colour story on this one is exceptional: sweeping stripes of salmon pink, warm yellow, and touches of deep red flow through the stone, punctuated by zones of water-clear Quartz that catch the light beautifully. The base features a natural white and pale pink druzy pocket — fine crystalline growth that adds texture and sparkle against the smooth polished body of the flame.

Apricot Agate is a banded variety of Chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of Quartz, whose warm apricot, salmon, and yellow tones come from iron oxide and manganese inclusions deposited in fine rhythmic layers as silica-rich fluids slowly filled cavities in volcanic rock. The banding pattern is formed by the Liesegang process, a natural chemical oscillation that produces the concentric or parallel stripes characteristic of all Agates. The druzy feature forms where the final cavity space was too small for larger crystals to grow, leaving a glittering crust of tiny Quartz points instead.

Agate is associated with balance, grounding, and gentle protection. It resonates with the Heart and Crown Chakras, supporting emotional steadiness, clarity, and a calm, uplifting energy.
