Ammonite From Madagascar with Pyrite 10.5cm

This Ammonite fossil from Madagascar measures approximately 10.5cm and features naturally occurring Pyrite mineralisation within the ancient shell structure. The Pyrite formed when iron rich fluids replaced or filled cavities in the fossil over geological time. 

Ammonites are extinct marine cephalopods belonging to the subclass Ammonoidea, which lived in Earth’s oceans from the Devonian period around 400 million years ago until their extinction at the end of the Cretaceous period approximately 66 million years ago. Their distinctive spiral shells make them important index fossils, widely used in geological dating and palaeontological study.

This specimen represents a rare combination of fossil preservation and secondary mineral formation, making it both scientifically significant and highly collectable. 

Ammonite carries the wisdom of ancient oceans, gently guiding transformation, balance and new beginnings through its timeless spiral energy.

Seriphos Quartz is a rare and striking form of green Quartz found only on the Greek island of Serifos in the Aegean Sea. Known for its vivid colour and sharply defined crystal shapes, it is one of the most distinctive regional Quartz varieties in the world.

Seriphos Quartz forms within metamorphic rocks that have been altered by intense heat and pressure deep within the Earth. During this process, hot mineral rich fluids move through fractures in the rock and begin to crystallise. The colouring can range from soft pale green to deep olive or even bluish tones depending on the specific balance of mineral inclusions and geological conditions at the time of formation. Seriphos Quartz is found exclusively on Serifos, where historic mining sites exposed pockets of beautifully formed crystals perched on matrix or growing in radiating clusters.

What to expect? Of course, we will not tell you exactly what is in the boxes but here is rough guide of the content.

We will promise the RRP will meet or exceed the prices of the mystery crystal sets.

These crystals are intuitively chosen, and in order to get the perfect set we would love to know some info about the receiver. For example; their date of birth, their character and what they might need. We can use this intel for a personalised mystery mix! Acquired from an old private collection, this Ocean Jasper palmstone is one of those pieces that rewards a slow look. At first glance it reads as a beautifully banded agate — and it is — but spend a moment with it and the details reveal themselves one by one.

The banding is classic Ocean Jasper: smooth, flowing agate layers in warm tones punctuated by vivid red accents that catch the light and pull the eye. Scattered across the surface are druzy pockets where the mineral opened up during formation, leaving tiny crystalline orbs glittering in the cavities — the signature orbicular texture that makes Ocean Jasper unlike any other Jasper variety. And then there is the quartz window: a small area of translucent Quartz that lets light pass through, giving the piece a luminous quality that photographs cannot fully capture.

This is a one-of-a-kind specimen from a time when pieces like this were collected for the love of the stone, not for the market. It shows.
