A fine rubellite tourmaline from the renowned Paraíba region of Brazil, one of the world's most celebrated tourmaline localities.

The colour is a layered mix of soft pink and lilac, shifting between the two depending on the light, with bright silvery mica catching across the surface and adding a metallic flash to the overall effect. The crystal has a natural, unpolished form with a tapering termination, textured faces, and patches of white matrix at the base. In natural light the mica gives it an almost iridescent quality.

As the tourmaline crystal grows, changes in chemical composition occur, leading to the unique watermelon-like coloration. Rubellite is a pink to red variety of Tourmaline belonging to the Silicate mineral group. It forms within granite pegmatites, where slow cooling allows elongated crystals with strong colour saturation to develop. The surrounding Quartz formed from silica-rich fluids, supporting and preserving the Tourmaline during growth.

Traditionally associated with love, compassion, and emotional healing, Rubellite Tourmaline is strongly connected to the Heart Chakra and is often chosen to support self-expression, emotional openness, and gentle inner balance.

A substantial and beautifully formed Indochinite tektite from the Indochinese Peninsula — one of the most prolific tektite strewn fields on Earth, produced by a meteorite impact event approximately 790,000 years ago.

Deep jet-black throughout, this piece has the characteristic sculpted, flow-textured surface of a well-preserved Indochinite — ridged, pitted, and rippled from its violent journey through the atmosphere. The form is elongated and rounded, sitting comfortably in the hand, with a subtle glassy sheen where the texture smooths between the deeper grooves.
