Libysches Wüstenglas, auch bekannt als Libyscher Goldtektit, ist ein seltenes natürliches Glas, das vor Millionen von Jahren entstand, als ein Meteoriteneinschlag Saharasand unter extremer Hitze verschmolz. Es wird ausschließlich in der Sahara gefunden und ist wegen seiner geologischen Seltenheit und seiner natürlich geformten Formen geschätzt.

Libysches Wüstenglas, auch bekannt als Libyscher Goldtektit, ist ein seltener und faszinierender Tektit, der in der Sahara gefunden wurde. Vor über 28 Millionen Jahren entstanden, wird sein Ursprung auf einen Meteoriteneinschlag zurückgeführt. Die fesselnde gelbe bis grüngelbe Farbe dieser glasartigen Substanz wird auf das Vorhandensein von Eisen und anderen Spurenelementen zurückgeführt.

Offiziell erst 1932 von P. Clayton entdeckt und nach der libyschen Wüste benannt, in der es zuerst gefunden wurde, wurde dieses rätselhafte Juwel von alten Zivilisationen wegen seiner Schönheit und seiner vermeintlich mystischen Eigenschaften geschätzt. Historisch wurde es in Schmuck und Amuletten verwendet, als Symbol für Schutz und Klarheit. Ein Stück davon wurde in der Grabkammer von König Tut, auf einem kunstvollen Skarabäuskäfer, gefunden.

Import Duties & Taxes (outside the UK)

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and Tali and Loz encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tali and Loz at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
