Ein wunderschön polierter Lapislazuli-Handstein aus den Madani-Minen Afghanistans, geformt zu einer ansprechenden Scheibe, die perfekt in der Hand liegt. Das Blau dieses Stücks ist tief und satt, und die Pyriteinschlüsse sind außergewöhnlich klar und hell – scharfes Metallic-Gold vor der königsblauen Matrix, genau das, was man von feinem afghanischem Lapislazuli erwartet. Ein Stück, verkauft wie gesehen.

Lapislazuli ist ein metamorphes Gestein und kein einzelnes Mineral, das entsteht, wenn Kalkstein durch intensive Hitze und Druck in Kontakt mit magmatischen Intrusionen umgewandelt wird. Seine Farbe stammt hauptsächlich von Lazurit, einem Mineral der Sodalith-Gruppe, und die Goldflecken sind natürlicher Pyrit – Eisensulfid –, das während der Metamorphose in der Matrix kristallisiert. Die weißen Adern, falls vorhanden, sind Calcit. Die Madani-Minen in Afghanistan produzieren seit über 6.000 Jahren Lapislazuli und bleiben die Quelle des weltweit feinsten Materials, geschätzt für sein intensives, gesättigtes Blau und gut verteilten Pyrit.

Lapislazuli wird seit langem mit Königtum, Wahrheit und Weisheit in Verbindung gebracht und resoniert mit dem Hals- und Stirnchakra, wodurch klare Kommunikation, Selbstdarstellung und tiefere intuitive Wahrnehmung unterstützt werden.

Erstmals in Kalkstein im Nordosten Afghanistans gefunden, werden Lapislazuli-Kristalle seit mehr als 6.000 Jahren aktiv abgebaut und sind hochgeschätzte Steine, die mit dem Königshaus in Verbindung gebracht werden. In der Antike sahen die Sumerer diese Steine als Gefäße, in denen Götter lebten, und im Alten Ägypten waren sie ein Symbol für Stärke und Mut und wurden in den Gräbern der Pharaonen entdeckt. Dieser faszinierende Edelstein leitet seinen Namen vom lateinischen Wort "lapis" (Stein) und dem persischen Wort "lazhuward" (blau) ab. Er entsteht durch die Metamorphose von Kalkstein und enthält Minerale wie Lasurit, Calcit und Pyrit.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tali and Loz at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping.
