A beautifully sculptural Cerussite specimen with warm honey-golden colouring, glassy translucent areas and layered crystal growth that catches the light across its surface.

The piece has an irregular, naturally formed silhouette, with stepped crystal faces and softly rounded areas shifting from pale champagne to richer amber-brown. Light moves through the thinner sections to reveal the mineral’s internal depth, while the more densely formed areas have a bright, resinous to adamantine lustre. This specimen is also UV reactive, revealing another side to the mineral under ultraviolet light. The specimen is presented on a clear acrylic display stand and secured with removable white tack.

Cerussite is a lead carbonate mineral (PbCO₃) that crystallises in the orthorhombic system. It is notably dense for its size and can develop brilliant adamantine lustre, transparent to translucent areas, and complex twinned or layered crystal forms. This specimen is confirmed to fluoresce under ultraviolet light; UV photographs will be added at a later date. Because Cerussite contains lead, it should be handled carefully: avoid creating dust, wash hands after handling, and keep it away from children and pets.

Cerussite is associated in crystal traditions with grounding, clarity and personal transformation. Its weighty physical presence is often linked with the Root chakra, while its bright reflective surfaces are connected with mental focus and clear intention. As a lead mineral, its traditional planetary correspondence is Saturn, with Capricorn and Virgo commonly given as its associated star signs.

Import Duties & Taxes (outside the UK)

Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and Tali and Loz encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Tali and Loz at the customers expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
